The World Martial Arts Games Committee (WMAGC) was founded in 2005 by Freddy Kleinschwärzer (Germany) and Ken Marchtaler (Canada). Its mission is to provide a global platform for martial artists of all styles, abilities, genders, ages, and backgrounds.
Core Principles of WMAGC:
🔹 Inclusivity & Diversity – Open to all, regardless of gender, background, experience, or ability.
🔹 Global Collaboration – Builds international relationships among martial arts organizations.
🔹 Wide Martial Arts Representation – Encourages participation across various martial arts disciplines.
WMAGC events are designed to be purposefully inclusive, ensuring equal opportunities for all martial artists. The committee actively works to:
- Foster an international collaborative network.
- Develop cooperative relationships among martial arts organizations worldwide.
- Share knowledge, experience, and opportunities across the martial arts community.
The term "Martial Arts" is used broadly to include all traditional and modern combat styles, ensuring maximum participation and representation.
WMAGC does not discriminate based on gender, background, experience, language, ethnicity, culture, or beliefs. It aims to provide a fair and welcoming platform for anyone interested in martial arts—whether as a competitor or part of the event team.
Since its founding in 2005, WMAGC has successfully organized numerous international martial arts events, bringing together athletes and practitioners from around the world.
